The series title refers to the burn notices issued by intelligence agencies to discredit or announce the dismissal of agents or sources who are considered to have become unreliable. When spies are burned, their connection to an espionage organization is terminated, leaving them without access to cash or influence. According to the narration during the opening credits, the burned spy has no prior work history, no money, no support network – in essence, no identity. The television series uses first-person narrative (including frequent voice-overs providing exposition) from the viewpoint of covert-operations agent Michael Westen, played by Jeffrey Donovan. The voice-over commentary is in the form of tips for fledgling agents as if for a training or orientation film.

I want to throw a surprise birthday party for my boyfriend and he loves burn notice season dvd.I have already googled everything I could think of and there really just aren't that many ideas out there. If you could help me out in any way that would be greatly appreciated. I have to plan everything and without him noticing. Feel free to post questions for me and I'll do my best to help too. --Thanks!My husband and I are big fans of Burn Notice, too. The problem is, the show is mostly about people and explosions, so there aren't a lot of props. Here's an idea: new characters introduced have their name and their "role" flashed on the screen. Make name badges for the guests the same way, and have them wear the badges. You can make up funny names and roles for them, like "Joe Schmo-Arms and Legs Dealer." Okay, that's not great, but you get the idea. You can have toy props like guns and cell phones, and ask everyone to dress in colorful, Miami-style clothes. Play some Cuban/Latin music. If you can get a sound-effects CD, have someone "set it off" with an explosion sound when your guy walks into the party. I can't think of anything else right now, but I think it's a great idea. Make sure you're Fiona, and good luck!I like that show too. You should be his "gun crazy girlfriend". And get a couple of others to play other characters from the show. Have his mom call him up and tell him that "someone needs your help" to get him to the party. Even better if she tells him in person and gives him an air soft pistol. Perhaps some mystery for him to solve at the party?

I just wanted to see what the results for a question like this would be. I love the show burn notice and I haven't gotten down to the person I feel is the stupidest so what's your opinion? Name the person and Why.Michael's dumb brother.micheal brother he gets into to much bull$hitThe new guy they just put on the team last week. He's gonna screw stuff up, I know it.Sam. Sometimes his behavior is strange.Michael Westen.

Tony Dow as Beaver's brother Wally

Leave it to Beaver Complete Series DVD Boxset

leave it to beaver complete series dvd is an American television situation comedy about an inquisitive but often naïve boy named Theodore "Beaver" Cleaver (portrayed by Jerry Mathers) and his adventures at home, in school, and around his suburban neighborhood. The show also starred Barbara Billingsley and Hugh Beaumont as Beaver's parents, June and Ward Cleaver, and Tony Dow as Beaver's brother Wally. The show has attained an iconic status in the United States, with the Cleavers exemplifying the idealized suburban family of the mid-twentieth century.

Pilot stars Casey Adams and Paul Sullivan (as father and son Ward and Wally Cleaver) were replaced as series production neared, and, six months after the pilot's broadcast, the series properly debuted on CBS Friday October 4, 1957 as Leave It to Beaver with the episode third in production order, "Beaver Gets 'Spelled." The intended premiere, "Captain Jack,"displayed a toilet tank (which didn't pass the censor's office in time for the show's scheduled debut) and aired the week following the premiere. "Captain Jack" has claimed its place in television history as the first American TV show to display a toilet tank. In 1997, it was ranked #42 on TV Guide's 100 Greatest Episodes of All Time.

Casting directors interviewed hundreds of child actors for the role of "Beaver" but kept calling back Jerry Mathers, an eight-year-old with substantial acting experience. At one of many auditions, Mathers wore his Cub Scout uniform and told casting personnel he was anxious to leave for his den meeting. Connelly and Mosher were charmed with Mathers's innocent candor and cast him in the title role. Barbara Billingsley, an actress with experience in several B-movies and one failed television series (Professional Father), was then hired to play Beaver's mother, June Cleaver. Preteen Tony Dow accompanied a friend auditioning for Johnny Wildlife to the studio, and, although Dow had no aspirations to an acting career, tried out for the role of Beaver's brother Wally Cleaver and was hired. Several adult candidates then auditioned for the role of Beaver's father Ward Cleaver, but Connelly and Mosher finally signed Hugh Beaumont, a Methodist lay minister who had worked with Mathers in a religious film.

Battlestar Galatica

Caprica Season 1 DVD Boxset
Buy Caprica Season 1 DVD Boxset only $33.99 with free delivery
$33.99

I've read that Caprica is the prequel to Battlestar Galactica. I've never watched either show, but I'd like to. Which show would you start with?BSG. The series is complete, while Caprica is in the middle of season 1. If you wait until Caprica ends to watch BSG you may have several years.interesting question...it's true that Caprica is the prequel, so I think you should start with that. I have a Star Wars marathon every memorial day weekend and always start with episode one, even though it was made later. At least with BG you wont have major differences in the effects, quality, etc. like with Star Wars lol. My hubby watches both the shows BG first, but I only watch Caprica because I havent seen much of BG. Whatever you decide, Have fun = )Caprica takes place before Battlestar Galactica. But Caprica was shot recently.I suggest you Battlestar Galatica

I have heard and read alot of people saying things about BSG and then saying something about caprica as if they were related. Im confused on how they could be but then again iv never watched BSG in the first place. I have watched caprica though and i like it :)Caprica is a prequel to BSG. It takes place in the same universe, 58 years before BSG, and has some of the same characters. The Adama kid grows up to be Admiral William Adama, commander of the Battlestar Galactica.

The machines built by Graystone Industries are Cylons, which rebel and almost wipe out the human race in BSG. The Pyramid team in Caprica is featured in BSG as well (different players, naturally) as their team captain becomes the leader of the anti-Cylon insurgency on occupied caprica dvd. Creator Ron Moore wanted Caprica to show a world and society that's powerful, advanced and drunk on success and mindlessly dangerous as a result. It's a world with racism and petty concerns, because they have so much that they've degraded to squabbling over insignificant possessions and ideas. They are spiritually empty. BSG is a post-apocalyptic society, the result of genocide and the people becoming refugees and being forced to live and work together to simply survive.Thats...amazing. Caprica was a city blown up in BSG. Caprica takes place 40 years before the events of BSG.Basically caprica is the prequel to battle start galactica. Caprica is about the how the robots came to exist and such.

Also in battle star galactica the planet they all originated was from caprica when the robots come back and try to wipe them out. Caprica is basically more the back story then anything for battle star galatica.

Good information about Merlin

Merlin Seasons 1-3 DVD Boxset
Buy Merlin Seasons 1-3 DVD Boxset only $58.99 with free delivery
$58.99

I have inherited two Rolls Royce Merlin engines in a legacy and wish to sell them but have no idea of the best place. Someone was looking for one the other day for their father but they had no e mail address so I could not contact them. Any ideas?I would stay away from Ebay, this is the kinda thing that has legal issues and personally I think that kinda item needs to be face to face.
YES HAVE IT APPRAISED.

I also would contact the Imperial War Museum at Duxford in the UK and ask them if they are aware of any on-going renovations, they are a major clearing house for Mustang and Hurricane Information.

Good Luck. Please dont go anywhere near EBay for this sort of sale.
You dont say what condition the engines are in, nor do we know where you live.
Try to contact historical aircraft associations in your country (and other countries) and get genuine information on the value of these engines. $100,000 each is not unreasonableHow much do you want for them?e-bay.......Go down to your nearest vintage car museum or even the light aircraft section of the local airport and ask around. Ask several people, not just one or two. If they are in good condition they may be quite valuable.

What you have is not just a couple of Engines, for some people, it's the possible fulfillment of a dream, as well as an incredible piece of History.I'm sure that old plane restoration companies would love to get a hold of them especially for the P51 Mustangs---check online for vintage aircraft clubs or EAA Association."craiglist", reaches a large audience but I think I would go along with some of the other answers. These are very special items and they are becoming quite scarce.

Just don't give them away, get an impartial appraiser or submit them for auction with a nice hefty reserve. Be sure the auction is aircraft (old aircraft) related.

Search "Rolls Royce" Merlin dvd on the net and email the contact addresses of the web sites if available. These people obviously have an interest and may be interested or know someone.

These things work on networks that do not always use the internet but are international. You may take a while to sell. E-bay is always an option

Inspired by the series CSI

CSI Miami Seasons 1-9 DVD Boxset
Buy CSI Miami Seasons 1-9 DVD Boxset only $109.99 with free delivery
$109.99

Inspired by the series CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, CSI: Miami follows a South Florida team of forensic investigators/police officers who use both cutting-edge scientific methods and old-fashioned police work to solve crimes. Lieutenant Horatio Caine heads the team of investigators while working crimes in the steamy tropical surroundings and cultural crossroads of Miami. Horatio, his second in command Detective Calleigh Duquesne, and their team (Delko, Boa Vista, Wolfe, Tripp, Simmons, Donner, Speedle, Woods, Price, Salas, Loman, and Cardoza) probe cases similar to those of their Las Vegas counterparts, but Miami CSIs are cops first and scientists second.

I lived in buy CSI Miami dvd for four years and moved about a year ago for work. Since I miss it I sometimes watch Miami related TV shows. Although it's a good show, I hardly ever recognize the scenes they show. Granted they usually show tight shots relatively quickly, but if you compare it to Miami vice, which was filmed 20 years ago, that show looks a lot more like Miami than CSI Miami does today. I know the indoor scenes are shot in LA, but now I don't even recognize a lot of the outdoor stuff, are they filming that in LA too?Not much at all. the crew will go offseason and do most of the scenic shots and once in a while they will have to shoot specific scenes during the season. Funny how during the early years you could tell that it was filmed in LA because all of the "Miami cops" were wearing t-shirts under their uniforms (part of LA cops' uniform) Miami cops arent allowed to do that. hahaYou can always tell the So. Fla. shots by the light. From what I've seen pretty much all the outdoor shots are South Fla. Not all of it is Miami-Dade though.

well i seen the first episode of the 8th season of csi miami and i dont know when the second episode will be. what days and times and channels does it start on so i can watch the rest of the season on tv.Mondays 10pm 9pm Central check with cbs.com or your local cbs station in your area.( This is US east coast time.)I don't know if this matters, but I live in Ontario Canada and CSI Miami is on every Monday 7pm and 10pm. At 7pm its on channel 114 CTVAT,at 10pm its on channel 8 CTVTO and 5 WIVB.

How can Smallville successfully portray Clark?

Smallville Seasons 1-10 DVD Boxset
Buy Smallville Seasons 1-10 DVD Boxset only $118.99 with free delivery
$118.99

How can Smallville successfully portray Clark turning into Superman without every character being incredibly stupid? Everyone has seen Clark without glasses so Lois Lane won't be the only person to figure it out quickly. Unless there is a massive mind wipe or continuity erased, there really isn't a way for Superman to be introduced without everyone knowing Clark Kent and Superman are the same person. Thoughts?I've always wondered that, I think I've even asked the question before. But I figure he might leave for a while and come back in glasses because in the movie he had to leave for training, maybe he will have to do that in the show and in the 3rd superman movie he goes to smallville and sees Lana Lang, and I think she knew him before he had glasses and she didn't recognize him when he's superman, I think it might of been because he was gone for a while. I don't know what they will do in Smallville, I guess we will just have to wait and see.

oh and for the person who said that in the moive lana lang didn't know clark with out the glasses, she did because she was the red headed cheerleader who who rode off in the car with her bf in the begining of the moive, when clark was a teenager, and he didn't have glasses then, and i also think u were refuring to lois lane, not lana lang, lana was only in the beginng of the moive. The producers of the first 7 seasons were asked that, and they said basically that the good news is that they don't have to explain that. Hopefully the new producers are going to address that, but there's not a lot of hope for something that would make sense at this point.the story lines of smallville have been driving me nuts due to its lack of creativity. but most likely if we ever see clark become the man of steel, there would be some sort of memory cleanse...which isn't the first time.Smallville dvd will never portray Clark turning into Superman. The show's #1 rule is "no flights, no tights."well for starters it is smallville and not superman but also we aren't see clark in costume or anything cuz they have a no tights or cape rule. however, that doesn't mean we won't see him flying at the end, also there are rumors of a possible season 9. the producers even say it's possible so maybe if they make a season 9, that season will contentrate on giving clark a secret alias. Here this is the thing about a season 9: -Souders notes that Clark's double identity will face new challenges, and that Oliver and other members of the Justice League haven't had the same struggles with developing their superhero identities, because their first identities aren't lies. For Clark, the transition is harder because Clark Kent, farmboy, is already a mask. She adds that Clark's humanity also gets in the way.

It is weird that they didn't start him off with glasses, but since Smallville is supposed to be non-canonical then they could do anything from mind wipes, to the blue Superman, to a Superman in goggles like the Eradicator Superman or anything. They might even just end the series before we see a Superman making contact with anyone that knew Clark.idk u think they would just have clark put on the tights and cape and just run around a still be the red-blue blur, and never have anyone c his face, but i did c a comercial for smallville showing clark wearing the glasses, so he must have to tell lois, cuz yah she would notice

"Justice League International"

The 1986 company-wide crossover featured the formation of a new Justice League. The new team was dubbed "Justice League" then "Justice League International" and was given a mandate with less of an American focus. The new series, written by Keith Giffen and J. M. DeMatteis with art by Kevin Maguire (and later Adam Hughes), added quirky humor to the team's stories. In this incarnation, the membership consisted partly of heroes from Earths that, prior to their merging in the Crisis on Infinite Earths, were separate. The initial team included Batman, Black Canary, Blue Beetle, Captain Marvel, Doctor Light (a new Japanese female character, emerging from the Crisis of Infinite Earths, not the supervillain who had appeared previously), Doctor Fate, Martian Manhunter, Mister Miracle, and Guy Gardner; and soon after inception, added Booster Gold, Captain Atom, Fire (then known as the Global Guardians' Green Flame), Ice (then known as the Global Guardians' Icemaiden), and two Rocket Reds (one was a Manhunter spy, and one was Dimitri Pushkin). The  Justice League dvd  series' humorous tone and high level of characterization proved very popular initially, but writers following Giffen and DeMatteis were unable to maintain the same balance of humor and heroics, resulting in the decline of the series' popularity. New writers gave the storylines a more serious tone. By the mid- to late-1990s, with the series' commercial success fading, it was eventually canceled, along with spinoffs Justice League Europe, Extreme Justice, and Justice League Task Force.
